The Pakistan Sustainable Transport PAKSTRAN project is an intervention signed-between Government of Pakistan and United Nations-Development-Program UNDP Pakistan. Aim of the PAKSTRAN-Project is to provide technical assistance to reduce the growth of the energy consumption and related greenhouse gas GHG emissions from the transport sector in Pakistan. The component implementation unit housed in the Urban Unit P&D department Government of the Punjab in collaboration with the uet Lahore are establishing a research and development unit at department of Transport Engineering and Management UET Lahore. The objective of the R&D unit is to carryout advanced research in the field of urban transport sector.
