CUI Lahore, Guangzhou varsity signed scientific collaboration

COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus hosted a delegation from Guangzhou University, China aimed to collaborate on scientific research between the Interdisciplinary Research Center in Biomedical Materials (IRCBM) at CUI, Lahore and the Center for Advanced Analytical Science at Guangzhou University.

The esteemed visiting delegation included; Qixue Zhang, VC of the Guangzhou University, Biru Liang, Director of the International Office in Guangzhou University, Congmin Liu, Deputy Director of the Science & Research Office, Li Niu and Dongxue Han Professor at the Center for Advanced Analytical Science.

Professor Qaisar Abbas, Director CUI Lahore Campus along with Head of Academics and Research CUI Lahore Campus, Heads of Departments and collaborating scientists warmly welcomed the delegation.

Seeing, Guangzhou University and COMSATS University Islamabad signed an intent document for scientific and research cooperation between the two universities including the faculty and student exchange program, post-doctoral fellowships and development of joint centers.

Prof. Qixue Zhang highlighted the irony relations between the two countries and emphasized that the time is superlative for research and scientific collaboration to flourish ahead.

Professor Qaisar Abbas ended the meeting with complete support for training for potent young faculty and post-doctoral fellowships and with a commitment to cultivate this association on all levels.
