Bank Al Habib Limited has issued guidelines for Overseas Pakistanis for obtaining exemption in respect of Biometric Verification of their accounts:
Non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs):
Non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs) are advised to share following documents through email (registered with Bank) or courier as a proof of NRP Status to their parent branch:
- Copy of valid passport, visa, exit stamp, resident permit, etc.
- Copy of valid ID card (CNIC/ NICOP).
- Undertaking for Exemption of Biometric Verification of Account.
Guidelines for Resident Pakistanis temporarily outside Pakistan:
Customers who do not qualify under the definition of NRP, but are currently/ temporarily outside Pakistan for any reason are advised to share via email (registered with Bank) or courier following evidence/proof regarding their absence from the country to their parent branch:
- Copy of valid passport, visa, exit stamp, resident permit, etc.
- Copy of valid ID card (CNIC/ NICOP).
- Undertaking for Exemption of Biometric Verification of Account.
Please note that exemption for Biometric verification in accounts of temporarily abroad resident Pakistanis shall be invalid after expected date of return.
