Prof Dr M Iqbal Choudhary, the chief of the University of Karachi’s (KU) International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), was delegated as the facilitator general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (Comstech) by President Dr Arif Alvi

Prof Dr. M Iqbal, the chief of the University of Karachi’s (KU) International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), was delegated as the facilitator general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (Comstech) by President Dr. Arif Alvi.

Comstech, of which the President of Pakistan is the administrator, was set up in 1981 to fortify participation in science and innovation among OIC states, and to build the capacity of Muslim nations in science and innovation.

Dr. Choudhary is one of the most elevated designed researchers in the nation, having won common honors including the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Hilal-e-Imtiaz. He is likewise an individual from the National Commission for Science and Technology.

In a press explanation, KU bad habit chancellor Prof Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi and ICCBS benefactor in-boss Prof Attaur Rahman complimented Dr Choudhary on his arrangement, naming it a respect for the college as well as the country in general.

He is the second individual from ICCBS to be delegated to this situation, with Prof Rahman having served in it before.
